Hi Giada! Thank you for doing this interview with us and taking time out of your busy schedule. How are you?
Yes I’m very busy actually, so…Ah! Sorry, forgot…Hi! I’m very well, thank you. I just took an exam today, and I’m full of energy and ready to start work!
You’re busting at the seams! First, can you introduce yourself and let us know what you do at Spreaker?
My name is Giada, I’m 30 years old – well, more like 31 – and I’m the Administrative Head of Spreaker. Yes, I’m the one who takes care of the accounting, payments, etc. It might seem boring to some, but I like my work: the numbers, balancing, the receipts. I’m also very creative, and am an amateur actress.
How did you start your job at Spreaker?
I was working as a Manager’s Assistant for the Incubator for Innovative Businesses of Bologna, when CEO Francesco of Spreaker, one of the “incubated” businesses, asked me to collaborate with them. It was such an honor! I left my job and united with Spreaker, with the hope of reaching my goal of a graduating with my Masters at the same time!
You were a great addition. Which Spreaker feature do you like the most?
I think that, whether or not you’re a tech aficionado, you can tell the Spreaker app is impressive and an exciting progression for the company!
Can you give us a few reasons why it’s great working at Spreaker?
Because you can have fun even when working at such a driven and busy company! It’s a startup offering something rare, with lots of capabilities and huge ambition. Plus great people work at Spreaker!
Thank you! Do you have any fun memories that you would like to share?
My memories are really just from working day-to-day. Especially laughing and joking around with the Community Managers, imitating strange dialects, or, something more recent, improvising choreography in the hallway as we grab a coffee at the coffee machine.
Ah yes, making quite a scene! What are your favorite podcasts on Spreaker?
I do love For the Love of Poetry and the Spoken Word. It’s right up my alley.
What are you crazy about/drives you crazy?
I love food, and I can’t stand people who don’t realize that soap exists!
Where can we find you on the internet?
Maybe not on the internet, but you can find me on a stage near your soon!
