Meet the Team Volume 14 # Guido

Hi Guido! Thanks for doing this interview with us and taking time out of your busy schedule. How are you?

Really happy! I just spent the past holiday season with my family in Italy, and am ready to go back to being on “on” mode.

Great! Can you introduce yourself and let us know what you do at Spreaker?

Yep! My name is Guido, I’m 23 years old, and was born and raised in Italy. After a brief stint as a backpacker traveling around New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji, and after graduating in Telecommunications Engineering, here I am working as a System Administrator! My job is to make sure the entire technological infrastructure that Spreaker is based on is always online, running, and ready to go!

How did you start your job at Spreaker?

It was all very quick. I hadn’t been a post-grad for even 15 days when I received an email from Marco telling me he was interested in nominating me for the position. A few days later I was on a plane to Berlin!

Lucky us! So, which Spreaker feature do you like the most?

Having my own past as a DJ, I have to say that Spreaker’s DJ console is really complete and intuitive!

Can you give us a few reasons why it’s great working at Spreaker?

I think that the fundamental reasons as to why I’m working at Spreaker today come down to two things: a young and motivated team, and having to work with tons of new, cool technology!

Do you have any fun memories that you would like to share?

I’ve only just arrived and so I really can’t say at the moment, but I’m sure if you ask me this question in about a year I’ll have plenty to tell!

What are your favorite podcasts on Spreaker?

Radio Bellaaaa and Roba da Rocker – La Radio Pirata.

Where can we find you on the internet?

Follow me on Twitter: @guidoiaquinti.

Great talking to you Guido, and welcome to the team!
