Tip of The Week: Pick a Show Time!

0

Hi again guys, it’s great to bring you a weekly tip and help you get familiarized with our platform. Today I’d like to show you how you can become more popular by choosing the best broadcasting time for your online radio show.

Here are the tips:

Select a time zone

Firstly,  consider the time zone you are refering to; there are a lot of different time zones and you have to decide on whether to focus on a local audience or an international one.
If you’re trying to attract a local audience your job will be easier since you only have to worry about your local time zone; whereas if you’re trying to reach a wider audience you have to choose a time that works for multiple. This site will help you in figuring them all out.

Put yourself in the shoes of your audience

Do you host a show talking about sports? You might want  to broadcast in the evening during the week, or during the day on the weekend. Have a show providing news? Early morning might work for you.  What you have to do is to put yourself in the shoes of your audience and choose the best time for your content.
Another option is to watch what other hosts are doing on Spreaker. Don’t necessarily do the same thing, but trying to pick up some habits that could be helpul for you.

Routine is the key

Building an audience can be quite hard but one thing that surely helps is the rhythm of your show.
Try to keep it on the same days at the same time each week, so your audience knows when to expect it and can build it into their routine.

Enjoy scheduling and let us know if you have any other questions!
