3 Podcasts to Get Those Entrepreneurial Juices Flowing

0

How much time do you spend during your workday thinking, brainstorming, and talking with your team about how to grow and improve your business strategy? If you’re someone who wants to stay up to date with business news, probably more than half. We agree with Brandon Turner, contributor at Entrepreneur.com, when he says that “sometimes it’s the unexpected things that can truly revolutionize a business”, so we’ve picked some of our favorites business podcasts to help you make your next move.

We’re sure you’ll find at least one episode that will inspire you to do something new, or something even better, to grow your endeavor.

1. The Businessology Show

This podcast is about the business of design and the design of business, hosted by CPA/Coach Jason Blumer, and to help designers and developers become even more successful. Even if it primarily addresses design, marketing development, and digital agency owners, we advise every podcaster to listen to every new episode and to take stock on tips on how to brand a show, as well as employ great design and marketing strategies; two things that everyone, especially podcasters, should pay attention to.

2. Entrepreneur On Fire with John Lee Dumas

If you’re looking for inspiration, motivation, and feasible advice during your daily commute, workout, or “me” time, definitely tune into John Lee Dumas’ podcast. He delivers 7-days a week, interviewing admirable entrepreneurs who share their failures, successes, hilarious moments, and the steps they took to turn that moment into a success. And don’t even think of walking away before it’s over, as each episode ends with “The Lighting Round”, where John extracts priceless resources and action steps for his listeners.

Our favorite episode: the one where John interviews Jana Francis, founder of the Daily Deal website Steals.com. Jana is also known for using social media to create genuine relationships with her fans, and we know you’ll want to hear more about that. Isn’t it the easiest way to get a faithful and engaged audience for your show?

3. PS You Got This

The “P.S. You Got This!” podcast was created to educate, inform, and entertain listeners about the entrepreneurial journey. Co-hosts Kristie Keever, Lacy Boggs, and Terra Bohlmann feature numerous guests, and stories are shared on the experiences and lifestyle it really takes to run a successful business. Basically, it’s a podcast about getting real and going behind the screens to look at what really happens at an online business in the growth stage.

Our favorite episode: the one in which the hosts, together with Sarah Ancalmo, go in depth on how to discover your brand’s voice. Sarah is one of the hottest branding experts working with small businesses today, having also worked with business titans and celebrities like Estee Lauder and Madonna, as well as Jimmy Fallon and Radiohead. Tune into this episode to get great advice on how to be consistent with your podcast’s brand: it’s not just a logo, it’s not just a name!
