Spreaker’s web-based console is part of our history.
It began back in 2009, debuted with Spreaker’s launch, and has since been used by thousands of users recording podcasts and broadcasting live every day.
Now it’s time to take another step forward.
Several suggestions made by Spreaker’s users over time have helped us in improving the service and developing Spreaker Studio, a brand new desktop app for Windows and Mac. It integrates new features and facilitates your everyday podcasting, offering a great user experience.
We’re sure that you’ll love using it. In fact, here are three good reasons to switch to Spreaker Studio right now:
1. Drafting a new way of podcasting.
Spreaker Studio features saved drafts. Now you can record a podcast offline and just save it, and it will always be available in the drafts section on the app’s left-hand menu. You can decide to publish it whenever you want.
And there’s more! In the drafts section you can also upload audio files, giving you the chance to save even podcasts you’ve recorded in the past on Spreaker Studio.
In this way, you can manage all of your drafts and audio files in just one place, from just one tidy section.
2. Integrating with Skype brings podcasters closer… and makes them happier!
Interviewing and talking to people that are far away has always been difficult. Some go back to the basics and bring mobile devices up to the mic, others may prefer going pro and using video call applications and techie workarounds.
So we decided to make life easier by integrating Skype directly with the console. If you click the “Connect to Skype” tab on the left-hand menu, the app will guide you step-by-step in setting up and connecting the two applications.
This gives you the opportunity to have guests on your shows without any troubles and keeps you free to do what you like most, podcasting.
3. Stop opening windows, start dragging.
The new Spreaker Studio app is designed to make podcasting comfortable and smart. From now on, you won’t need to either open windows and start searching directories or waste your time organizing your media library. You can just drag and drop podcasts, songs, and audio effects directly into the app. No additional steps are needed.
This will make managing files while recording podcasts easier, and will prevent you from having technical troubles during your broadcasts.
These are just some of the features that make Spreaker Studio the definitive application for your podcasts.
Finding the others is up to you!
