Now in its second year, PodCon 2 has become an annual date in our diary and we can’t wait for this weekend’s event.
If you’re not already aware of PodCon 2 – get informed! Last year’s event impressed us so much – the quality of panels and speakers got us so excited for the podcasting industry. That’s why we decided to show our support to the event by becoming lead sponsors for this year’s meet, which is expecting over 3,000+ attendees.
Heben and Tracy, hosts of BuzzFeed’s podcast Another Round, are two of the main speakers at the upcoming Podcast Movement on July 6th-8th. Heben was a senior editor at BuzzFeed and now works on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Tracy is a writer and humorist at BuzzFeed. Together on Another Round they cover everything from race, gender, and pop culture, to squirrels, mangos, and bad jokes, all in one boozy show.
So, as podcasters and as content writers, we think they can enlighten you with their opinions on how to build a successful podcast. Let’s start with the interview:
Daniel is one of the main speakers at the upcoming Podcast Movement on July 6th-8th. As well as an award-winning podcaster, he also helps others launch and improve their own podcasts so that they can share their passions and find success. He creates training resources (like SEO for Podcasters) and podcasting tools (like My Podcast Reviews), and offers one-on-one consulting and group training. Daniel is a keynote speaker on podcasting and social media and he hosts a network of award-nominated shows covering how to podcast, clean-comedy, and the #1 unofficial podcast for ABC’s hit drama Once Upon a Time. He also writes about technology, productivity, and entrepreneurship on his personal blog.
So, as a podcast trainer and as a speaker, we think it could be insightful to know something more about his opinion on the podcasting field. Let’s start with the interview:
New Media Europe, the (now) annual conference dedicated to content creators, entrepreneurs, and the new media that will help drive them to success, is returning this year to London, on June 18th and 19th. And for a second year in a row, Spreaker is proud to be sponsoring the event!

NAB Show 2016, the trade show produced by the National Association of Broadcasters, will take place in Las Vegas from April 16-21. More than 103,000 media and entertainment professionals from 160+ countries will be part of it, and we’re excited to be there, too!

Josh has an interest in all things business, development, and marketing. He has worked to help many companies build from the ground up, including time at the Techstars startup accelerator in Boulder, Colorado. While a native of the US, he has been living with his family and building his business in Christchurch, NZ for much of the past year.
