It’s Your Choice with the RSS Feed Redirect!

Here at Spreaker, we work hard at bringing you the best service possible, using your feedback as the drive behind improvements and changes.

And it’s thanks to this feedback that we’re now able to bring you an option! Our friends Dave of School of Podcasting and Mike Russell of Music Radio Creative tipped us off on the importance of not feeling locked in to any service, or tricked into staying with a particular platform. Now anyone that doesn’t find Spreaker to be the right fit but already has an active RSS feed going can feel free to redirect their feed to another service’s.

Here’s how:

  • Go to your show’s page and click on the Edit icon.
  • Click on RSS Feed Customization in the right-hand menu available.
  • Scroll down to the bottom to where it says RSS Feed Redirect. There you can enable the feature, and copy and paste the RSS feed link that you want your feed redirected to. Just keep in mind that by switching to Enabled, you’ll no longer be able modify your RSS Feed.

What do you think, podcasters? Like it, or see room for improvement? Let us know with your feedback!

    Nice one!

This is excellent news for potential new customers like me, who haven’t yet signed up, but can now do so with confidence knowing that I’m not *locked in*.

    Great move!
