Social Media Marketing to Promote Your Show

Social Media is a great way to promote your online show on Spreaker. Using tools like Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace you can promote your content and gain more followers, friends, and ultimately, listeners. It’s like a chain: the more people connected to you online, and the easier you make it for them to stay connected and keep up with you, the more likely they’ll check out your Spreaker show. Keep your friends and fans engaged and entertained, and you can be confident that you’ll gain more listeners.

Today I’d like to share some tips with you on using Twitter to promote your show.

Twitter offers a very direct way to get your message noticed out there, and all you have to do is create an account and build your community of followers.
I suggest you use your show’s name for your Twitter account, start searching for people with the same interests, and then follow them and their friends and followers. Often they’ll follow you back and you can start creating a new network of possibly interested listeners.

Another interesting tool for building your network on Spreaker is Twitter Search.

Scan tweets with related content, and start a conversation with new people sharing the same interests. It’s also a good idea to announce your show on Twitter and converse with your followers by offering them news and opinions.

So are you ready to start tweeting?

Connecting via social media channels like you suggest is spot-on and it’s a great way to not only grow and advertise a radio station but also to develop relationships with listeners.

Sharing insights about creating your own radio station like why you made the decision to create it, what influences you creatively, these are all great ways to engage and share with listeners and create positive buzz for your station which, ideally, will promote even more growth!

    Great stuff.
