How to distribute your podcast can often be a headache.

To facilitate simple syndication, we’ve redesigned Spreaker’s CMS distribution tools and created a simple and dedicated page for it. There’s no need for you to create a podcast distribution strategy, just select your preferred platforms for where to share. We’ve integrated as many leading destinations as possible to make it fast while giving you the choice of where to be with your podcast.

If you previously had an easy way of submitting to Spotify or iHeartRadio, with one-click distribution we’ve opened up the doors for you. We wanted to give you a podcast directory that clearly presents all your options, without the need to visit individual platform pages or outsource your podcast distribution.

To make for easy podcast syndication, our system will check all the necessary requirements for you to make sure your podcast is good-to-go and our designers have worked hard to make the interface as clear and user-friendly as possible.

Good distribution is now open to everyone – no tech skills are needed!

I’m Ready to Distribute

Now you know how easy it is, it’s time to get sharing!

1. Access Spreaker’s CMS and choose your podcast
2. Click on the “Distribution” option from the menu at left
3. Select your podcast distribution platform of choice and click ‘submit’ – we’ll do the rest.

While submitting you might notice that each platform has its own submission requirements. For example, you might need to have a certain number of public episodes in your podcast before submitting it. No worries though! If there are certain requirements you’re missing, we’ll notify you so there’s no need to troubleshoot on your own.

Also note that some platforms such as Apple Podcasts, require a more manual distribution – this is good as it grants podcasters access and control over their podcast’s distribution via the platform. In any case, don’t worry, whenever the submission process is manual we’ll give you all the instructions on what to do.

Once you’ve submitted your podcast it’s just a matter of waiting for approval; wait times vary depending on the platform (note it will be available immediately on Spreaker’s website and Spreaker Podcast Radio apps). As soon as your podcast is accepted you’ll be notified by e-mail, but you can always check on the status at any time via the Distribution page itself  – to see whether it’s been approved, awaiting approval or rejected. Once your podcast is approved, we’ll provide you with your podcast’s link for each platform.

For those of you out there who have already submitted your podcast to some of the mentioned platforms from another hosting service, you’ll need to follow our instructions for the redirect. Update: We Just Added JioSaavn

The integration with JioSaavn will give podcasters on Spreaker the opportunity to get discovered by a new audience while South Asian listeners on JioSaavn will have access to a plethora of quality global podcast content.

Founded in 2007 as Saavn, JioSaavn is an audio streaming service for South Asian music and artists. In March 2018, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) acquired a majority stake in JioSaavn, making it the largest music streaming service in India with millions of monthly active users. Through this partnership, JioSaavn’s base of more than 104 million active monthly listeners will now have access to podcasts distributed to the platform through Spreaker’s one-click distribution feature.
